初対面 the first meeting [メイのつぶやき]
新しいお家に来て、一週間たち、だいぶん慣れてきたの～
It has been passed one week since I had a new home. I gradually get used to live here.
数日前に初めて、ご主人様のインコの空ちゃんと小梅君に会ったの～
I met my owner's budiges, Sora and Koume for the frist time.
大きな声でピーピー鳴いて、ニャンコでもないし、人でもないし、あたしびっくりして怖かったにゃ～
They cheeped so lound. I was scared of them b/c they were not cats like me and not humans either.
昨日も空ちゃんと小梅君と顔を合わせたのだけど、までちょっと怖いあたしです。
I met Sora and Koume yesterday too but I was still scared of them....

名前の由来 the origin of my name [メイのつぶやき]
新しいお家に来て、直ぐに慣れちゃったあたしにゃ～。
美味しいご飯食べて、家の中を探検して、お眠りして快適に過ごしてるにゃの～
As soon as I came to my new house, I liked it at once.
I eat good food, explored in the house, and sleep well.
ご主人様の他にご主人様のパパとママもいて、3人とも私をとても可愛がってくれるの～
Except my owner, there are two other people who are my owvner' Dad and Mom in the house.
They all like me a lot.
これからご主人様をママ、ご主人様のパパママをお爺、お婆と呼ぶことにするにゃ。
I call my owner as my Mom, and her parents as Grandpa and Grandma.
ところで、今日は、あたしの名前の由来をお話しするね。
By the way, I will talk about the origin of my name today.
あたしは5月生まれ。英語で5月は『May』というので、そこから貰ったの。
これは、単純よね～
I was borin in Goｇatsu. In English, Goｇatsu means "May." So, I got the name from it.
This is so simple, isn't it?
でも、もう一つ、意味があるんだよ。
But, there is another meaning for my name.
漢字の『命』からとって『メイ』という意味もあるにゃの。
"命（inochi)”, one of Japanese writing characters, Kanji, also can be called "May."
この世に命を授かった以上は、幸せに育って欲しいというご主人様の思いがこめられているにゃ～
My owner hopes in my name that I can grow up happily as long as I was born in this life.
ご主人様、素敵なお名前をありがとう♪
I appreicate my owner which gave a wonderful name for me.♪
美味しいご飯食べて、家の中を探検して、お眠りして快適に過ごしてるにゃの～

I am a female tortoiseshell.
捨てられてさまよっていたのだけど、、拾ってもらい、しばらく、獣医さんで保護されていたんだ。
I was a stray cat but somebody rescued me. I was in the vet clinic for a while.
でも、昨日、里親さんが見つかり、新しい家族が出来たの～
But, I found my foster parent and got a new family yesterday.
あたしの飼主さんは電車とバスであたしを獣医さんからお家まで連れて行ってくれたんだよ。
My owner took me to my new house by train and bus.
電車とバスに乗ってとっても興奮しちゃいました！
I was so excited to get on a train and bus.
お家に着くと珍しいものばかり！！
There were so many intersteing things in the new house.
お腹も空いてご飯とお水もたっぷりもらって探検したら眠くなっちゃった～
I was so hungry. So, I ate lots of food and drunk water.
After that, I was walking around the house. Then, I was sleepy.
だから、明日、もっとお話しするね～
So, I will talk more tomorrow.
