最近、マミィのお母、お婆があたしに洗濯ネットをくれたの。
Recently, my Mommy's mother, who is my Grandma, gave me a washing net for me to play.
このネットで遊ぶととってもおもしろいニャ～
It is very interesting to play with the net.
あたし、興奮して柱をくじっちゃった～
I was so excited to scratch the wooden post.
マミィにすご～く怒られちゃった。
Mommy was angry with me so much for that.
ごめんね。マミィ～
I am so sorry, Mommy.

Did you visit your ancestor's grave?
マミィは明日、行くんだって～
Mommy is going to vist it tomorrow.
あたしは、最近、鏡遊ぶに夢中になってるから、留守番中は鏡で遊ぶの～
Recently, I am absorbed in playing with a mirror. So, I am going to play with it while I stay at home.
先日の出来事：
There is a story on the other day.
メイ： 「マミィ、この中にニャンコがいるよ～、でも、裏を覗いても誰もいないよ～何故ニャ～？」
May: "Hey, Mommy, there is a cat in it. But, there is nobody when I looked in the back. Why?"
マミィ： 「メイちゃん、それは鏡というもので、自分自身を映せるものなんだよ。
だから、その中の猫ちゃんはメイちゃんなんだよ。」
Mommy: "Hey, May. It's called a mirror. You can see yourself in it.
So, the cat in it is atcually yourself, May. Did you get it?"
メイ： 「ふ～ん、よくわかんない～どうして鏡に私が映るの～？」
May: "Well, I do not know. Why can I see myself in the mirror?"
マミィ： 「・・・・・・」
Mommy: "......"
メイ： 「鏡っておもしろいにゃ～でも、ニャンコをなかなか捕まえれないからシッポで遊ぶにゃ～」
Ｍａｙ： "It is so much fun to play with the mirror. But I can not get the cat. So, I paly with my tail."
マミィ： 「・・・・・・」
Mommy: "......"

初花火 the first fireworks [メイのつぶやき]
今日も暑かったニャ～ 皆、元気？
It was hot today too. How have you been up to?
あたしはこの前、生まれて初めて花火を見たの～
I saw fireworks for the first time in my life on the other day.
ドーンとすごい音がなって夜空に綺麗な大きなお花が咲いたんだよ～
I heard huge sounds and saw beautiful and big flowers in the night sky.
マミィはあたしが花火の音にびっくりすると思って反応を期待していたみたい。
Mommy expected that I would be very surprized at the sounds.
だけど、あたし、思ったほどびっくりしなかったの～だって、雷の音に慣れていたから～
But, I was not surprized at them b/c I got used to hear rolls of thunder.
マミィ、花火を見ているあたしの姿を一生懸命撮影していたけど、あたし、すぐに飽きちゃったんだ～
Mommy was working so hard to take photos of myself who was watching the fireworks but I was tired of them at once.
だから、なんとか撮影できたあたしと花火の写真はこれ一枚なんだって～
あとは、皆、ピンボケしちゃったんだってニャ～
So, this is only one photo of me with the fireworks which she could take.
The others were out of focus.
来年はもっとすばやく綺麗に撮ってにゃ～
Mommy, please take photos faster and better next year.

And, I found my carrier in the room when I woke up. So, I played with it a bit.
ジャンプして中に入って、またジャンプして外にでて、とっても面白いの～
I jumped in and out again and again. It was so exciting.
だけど、遊んでいるときにふたを閉めてしまって、でれなくなったの～
But, I locked out myself in the carrier and I could not get out.
マミィに助けて～って頼んだの。
でも、マミィったら、動画を撮るのに夢中になって、すぐだしてくれなかったニャ～
I asked my Mommy help but she was so absorbed in recording me.
And, she did not let me out at once.

氷水 Ｉce water [メイのつぶやき]
暑中見舞い申し上げますニャ～

毎日、暑いの～
It is very hot everyday.
マミィが、暑いのに水や牛乳をあまり飲まないあたしを心配して、ご飯に牛乳を混ぜたりいろいろしてくれたの～
Momy is worried about me which do not drink water or milk even if it's very hot wheather.
She tried to let me drink by mixing with some food.
最初は、ミルクごはん、美味しかったけど、だんだん飽きてきて、あたし、飲みたくなくなったんだ。
At first, I liked to eat food with milk but I was getting tired of eating it and did not want to drink.
だけど、熱中症になるのを心配したマミィがある日、氷を一つ、あたしにくれたの～
But, Momy was worried if I might sffer from sunstroke. One day, she gave me an ice.
氷って、とっても冷たくておいしかったんだよ！すぐにすきになっちゃったにゃ！
The ice was so cold and delicious. I loved it at once.
それからはマミィが氷入りの飲み物を飲んでいるときはいつもおねだりするの～
Then, I always get the ice whenever Momy is drinking with the ice cubes.
皆も暑い日は氷をなめて夏を乗り切るにゃ～
You should lick the ice when it is a very hot day. And, have a great summer!

初めての予防接種 the first vaccination [メイのつぶやき]
またまたご無沙汰だにゃ！
Long time no see again!
ご主人様にかごに入れられて動物病院というところに連れていかれたの～
My owner put me in the carry case and took me to a place called a vet clinic.
おウチから病院行くまでのかごの中はゆれるし、狭いしで嫌だったにゃ！
I did not like to be in the case b/c the inside was shaking and small on the way to go to the clinic from my house.
お医者さんに体をチェックしてもらったら、どこも異常ないって！体重も９２０ｇに増えたよ～
The doctor saw my body and told that I was pretty healthy. I weigh 920 grams.
もう帰れる～と思ったら、お医者さんにチックンされて痛かったの～＞＜
I thought I could go home soon but the doctor gave me a shot. Ouch! That hurt! ><
来月にまたチックンするんだって！嫌だな～
It seems that I need to get an injection next month. I do not want that.
お家に帰ってから、すぐにご飯を食べて遊んだよ。
As soon as I went home, I ate food and played at once.
最近、はまっているのはこれ！！
I like to play with this recently.
めちゃくちゃ、楽しかったよ＾０＾

あたしはというと、ついに階段を降りれるようになったの＾０＾
About myself, I finally could go down the stiars.^0^
上るのはわりと簡単だったけど、降りるのは難しくてなかなかできなかったんだよ。
It was a bit easy to go up the stiars but it was difficult to go down. So, I could not do it at once.
この前、降りれるようになったらつい嬉しくて、勢いよく降りたら、滑って落ちちゃった～
I was so happy that I could go down the stairs.
So, I went down the stairs faster on the other day but I slipped and fell.
それからは、気をつけてゆっくり降りるようにしてるの～
After that, I try to go down the staris carefully and slowly.

I saw a movie for the first time.
画面という四角い箱の中に人やら物やらが動くの～
In the square box called "screen," people or things are moving.
音もなるからびっくり！
I am surprised b/c I can hear sounds too from the screen.
初めて見た映画の名前が”オペラ座の怪人”というミュージカルだったにゃ。
My first movie which I saw is "The Phantom of the Opera" that is a musical show.
